Finance, marketing, Plato

The New York Times reports that several business schools are adopting a more liberal-arts focused approach, meaning a focus on critical thinking and analysis over technical skills in fnance or marketing.  The article is worth a read if you’re interested in business school, but the central point seems to be that these cutting-edge schools just want to teach their students how to think through problems.  This seems like a strange skill to pay an enormous sum to acquire.
