Libertarianism: for and against assisted suicide

The New York Times on Monday had a great article on an assisted suicide case that reached Montana’s Supreme Court yesterday.  The article touches on the intellectual roots of the two sides of the debate and, interestingly, claims, “the legal foundation for both sides is a free-spirited, libertarian-tinctured State Constitution…reflected in language about keeping government at bay and maintaining individual autonomy and dignity.”
